New York PostAn explosion occurred Sunday morning at the intersection of Cropsey Ave. and 17th Ave. in the Bath Beach section of Brooklyn. The blast severed several fingers from an 18-year-old man and burned his face and both hands, police said.
A 19-year-old man and a 20-year-old man also received burns to their hands and faces. All three men were taken to area hospitals and listed in stable condition, authorities said. Police stated that an investigation into the cause of the explosion remains ongoing.
