US Soccer is the sole bidder for the 2031 Women’s World Cup, with its bid involving matches staged in Mexico, Costa Rica and Jamaica. The Football Association is the sole bidder for the 2035 edition, leading a joint bid with Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. FIFA will allocate both tournaments at an extraordinary general meeting in November.

Many US cities have cancelled or scaled back their commitment to host official FIFA fan festivals for the 2026 World Cup. Only Philadelphia and Houston are fulfilling FIFA’s original brief of staging a 39-day fan festival covering the entire tournament. The Football Association has worked with UEFA to freeze ticket prices for Euro 2028 from the previous tournament in Germany.
For Euro 2028, 40% of tickets will be made available in the two Fans First cheapest categories, costing less than £30 and less than £60. UEFA operates the local organizing committee model to run the European Championship, with UK & Ireland 2028 Limited set up to manage Euro 2028.
