theverge.comFiat announced Tuesday that its Topolino electric vehicle is available to order through select U.S. dealers. The two-seat model starts at $13,995, or $14,985 after destination fees. The vehicle measures about 8 feet long, weighs 1,073 pounds and reaches a top speed of 19 mph. It draws power from a 5.4-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery that provides up to 46 miles of range.
A full charge takes about five hours on a 2.3-kilowatt AC charger. By the end of the summer, owners can add a free conversion kit that raises the top speed to 25 mph and allows use on public roads with speed limits of 35 mph or less. The company described the converted model as a federally regulated low-speed vehicle.

Two body styles are offered: the standard Topolino with a panoramic sunroof and the Topolino Dolcevita with a roll-back soft top and rope-style doors. Features include 14-inch wheels with vintage covers, LED lamps, a digital cluster and luggage space. The U.S. launch adds a second electric model for the brand beyond the 500e. The Topolino first went on sale in Europe in 2023.
