Fire Point is developing the FP-9 ballistic missile with an 800 km range, @Osinttechnical reported. Chief designer Shtilerman stated that the engine will be tested this month. Test flights are expected to begin soon after the engine test, he said.
Shtilerman added that a test flight demonstrating proper function would lead to the next flight being launched toward Moscow. The FP-9 remains under development by the company. “We will test the engine this month and expect to begin test flights soon.
As soon as a test flight shows that everything is working properly, the next flight should be launched toward Moscow,” Shtilerman said.
