Former MP reports assault at West Ealing Station
Alexander Stafford said he was punched twice at West Ealing Station around 7:40 p.m. He stated that Transport for London staff did not assist him after the incident.

Stafford said police arrived after members of the public called them. He added that Transport for London staff did not inform police of the incident or check on his condition.
"I presume I didn't move out of his way quickly enough, and he punched me. On the top of the head, downwards, and then to the jaw. I went down," Stafford told GB News. Stafford said other passengers assisted him and called police while station staff did not approach. He stated that staff later brought a chair after repeated requests from passengers.
The official TfL account replied to Stafford on X. It stated that the incident sounded distressing and apologized for the lack of support from station staff. TfL said it would support any police investigation and asked Stafford to share further details.
