Four Soldiers Injured by Explosive Drone in Southern Lebanon

One soldier was seriously injured and three others were lightly injured after an explosive drone struck troops in southern Lebanon on Wednesday, the military announced on Thursday. The soldiers were evacuated to a hospital to receive medical treatment and their families were notified of the incident. The announcement came a day after the event occurred.

Wednesday, the military said two other soldiers were wounded when explosive drones and rockets were launched toward troops operating in southern Lebanon. According to the military, two explosive drones detonated near the soldiers. That attack resulted in one soldier being lightly wounded and another being severely wounded.

Those soldiers were also evacuated for medical treatment and their families were notified.

In a separate incident on the same day, the military announced that it had intercepted a hostile aircraft before the aircraft could cross into Israeli territory. The events took place as troops continued operations in southern Lebanon near the border with Israel.
