Germany is accelerating the rollout of a nationwide ballistic missile defense network that will incorporate the Israeli Arrow 3 system. The Arrow 3 is described as one of Israel's most advanced air defense systems. It is designed to intercept ballistic missiles at altitudes above 100 km and has a reported range of up to 2,400 km.
A February 2026 joint exercise called Juniper Cobra included a display of the Arrow 3 alongside other systems. Photographs from the event showed the three systems positioned together during a press briefing on February 25, 2026.
