Giants Running Back Skattebo Performs Backflip at Fanatics Fest; Coach Plans to Address It

New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo performed a backflip during an appearance at Fanatics Fest over the weekend. Head coach John Harbaugh addressed the stunt in an interview with the Bleav in Giants podcast, saying he had not yet spoken with the player but planned to do so. "My reaction was this: Dude, at least stick it. I mean, land the thing if you’re going to do it, you know?

Harbaugh said with a laugh. He added that Skattebo has trained intensely and remains healthy. "Skat’s going to be ready to go. He has really been training like crazy. He’s healthy, he’s ready to roll, and I can’t wait to see him out there at practice," Harbaugh said.

Skattebo dislocated his ankle midway through the 2025 season. The injury limited his rookie year but has not prevented full preparation for 2026. Giants rookies report to training camp on Thursday. Veterans follow on July 28.
