The New York Giants signed wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. on Monday after he visited the team again that day and agreed to terms following a second offseason workout. The Giants evaluated veterans JuJu Smith-Schuster, Braxton Berrios and Anthony Miller during the same session.

The workout occurred days after Gunner Olszewski tore his Achilles during an Organized Team Activities practice. Wide receivers Malik Nabers and Darius Slayton remain sidelined while rehabbing a knee injury and a core muscle injury, respectively. Beckham previously worked out for the Giants in April.

Beckham was in town this weekend for the Brian Burns Celebrity Softball Game, where he spoke with quarterback Jaxson Dart and Malik Nabers. A source told ESPN that Beckham was optimistic about a potential return. Beckham told The New York Post there was some "unfinished" business.

Beckham was drafted by the Giants with the 12th overall pick in the first round of the 2014 NFL draft. He had 390 catches for 5,476 yards and 44 touchdowns in his first five years with the Giants. He was a Pro Bowler three times and the 2014 Offensive Rookie of the Year.

An independent committee named him one of the top 100 Giants players of all time. Beckham posted nine catches for 55 yards in 2024 with the Miami Dolphins. He sat out the entire 2025 season. He played 14 games for the Baltimore Ravens in 2023, recording 35 catches for 565 yards and three touchdowns.

Giants head coach John Harbaugh coached Beckham during the 2023 season in Baltimore. "Talked to Odell a lot, probably three or four times in the last week, [see] where he's at, where we're at," Harbaugh said last month. Harbaugh added that the April workout "went well" but said the team would let the situation develop through the rest of the spring and into training camp.

Harbaugh said the team was having "an honest conversation" about whether a reunion would work. "Odell wants to be the kind of player that can make a difference," Harbaugh said. "The thing I love about Odell is right now he's in such a good place in terms of his humility," Harbaugh said in April.

"He wants to be part of a team. He wants to contribute. He wants to help the young guys. That's what he's talking about doing. He still thinks he has some juice, and he looked good in the workout. " The Giants are completing their final four voluntary OTAs this week.

They will hold mandatory minicamp next Monday through Wednesday before the summer break. Odell Beckham Jr. is 33 years old and signed a one-year contract with the New York Giants.
