A propensity-matched analysis of 13,204 GLP-1 drug users and 13,204 controls found the medications were linked to reduced mortality, stroke, pulmonary embolism, and emergency room visits among people with both obesity and autoimmune diseases. @EricTopol reported the results from the new analysis. The study compared equal-sized groups of individuals who had both obesity and autoimmune diseases.
