TechCrunchGoogle announced on Thursday that users can now link and interact with Instacart, Canva, and YouTube directly in AI Mode. The integrations allow account holders to add grocery-list ingredients to an Instacart shopping cart and complete checkout, request design templates such as flyers from Canva, and curate playlists that save instantly to YouTube Music.

Google stated it is working with additional partners and plans to add support for more apps. The new capability builds on an earlier integration Google launched at its I/O developer conference in 2025 that connected third-party apps to the Gemini app. Apps already supported through that system include Canva, OpenTable, Spark, and Instacart.
Since AI Mode launched in early 2025, Google has added several other features.
