Google is updating its Images service with a tailored 'For You' gallery and direct image creation in AI Overviews. The features begin rolling out on desktop in the U.S. over the coming weeks.
TechCrunchGoogle Images is adding a 'For You' gallery of images tailored to users’ interests and browsing history, TechCrunch reported. The gallery updates in real time and lets signed-in users save images to collections that appear as tabs above the main view. The redesign targets visual discovery and inspiration, similar to Pinterest.
Users can create collections for topics such as vacation outfits or room designs and return to them later. Google Images launched 25 years ago. The changes are rolling out over the coming weeks on desktop in the U.S.
