The charges include battery involving domestic abuse, criminal damage to property involving domestic abuse, disorderly conduct involving domestic abuse, strangulation and suffocation, and intimidation of a victim.
One charge is classified as a felony while the remaining four are misdemeanors.
Incident details Officers responded to a disturbance complaint involving Jacobs just after 8:30 a.m. Saturday in the Hobart-Lawrence area, according to a police news release. The towns sit in the Green Bay metropolitan area. Jacobs, 28, was held without bond following his booking. Police described the investigation as active and ongoing.
Jacobs said he "vehemently denies the allegations, and this matter is in the early stages of investigation with important evidence that has not yet been made public. " The Packers said they were aware of the matter involving Jacobs. "As it is an ongoing legal situation, we will withhold further comment," the team stated.
An NFL spokesperson told reporters the league was aware of the report and had been in contact with the team.
Jacobs background Jacobs is entering his third season with the Packers after signing as a free agent in 2024. He previously spent five seasons with the Las Vegas Raiders after being selected in the first round of the 2019 draft. Last season he scored 14 total touchdowns and gained 1,211 yards in 15 games. He earned first-team All-Pro honors in 2022 and has been selected to three Pro Bowls.
