GSK is set to acquire three drug candidates for lung cancer, two of which are currently under review by the FDA for approval this year. The acquisition will transfer ownership of all three candidates to GSK, according to @WSJ reported. Two of the candidates are already in the FDA review process, with decisions expected before the end of the year.

The third candidate is also part of the transaction but has not yet reached the FDA review stage. @WSJ reported that the deal covers the full set of three experimental treatments.
