Midfielder Harry Winks has left Leicester City to join Italian side Cagliari for an undisclosed fee, bbc.co.uk reported. The 30-year-old signed a two-year contract with the Serie A club. Winks featured 36 times for Leicester last season and 109 times in all competitions after arriving from Tottenham Hotspur for about £10m in summer 2023.
He played a leading role in the club's promotion as Championship title winners under Enzo Maresca. The player previously spent the 2022-23 season on loan at Sampdoria. He holds 10 England caps. bbc.co.uk reported that Winks' departure had been expected after he fell out of favour during Leicester's relegation battles.
