Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. posted a video Tuesday morning showing himself capturing two black racer snakes on a patio at one of Dr. Oz's beachfront properties. The snakes are not venomous. Video shows the animals lunging toward Kennedy while he held them up for the camera.
Hines, Kennedy's wife, repeatedly told him the snakes were dangerous and asked him to release them. Kennedy continued handling the animals. The video does not show what happened to the snakes after capture.
Kennedy has posted earlier videos of removing snakes from homes and releasing them elsewhere. Past reports described other encounters with wildlife during his 2024 campaign and earlier years.
