Mattel’s Hot Wheels brand is releasing limited-edition diecast vehicles tied to KPop Demon Hunters, Stranger Things and Top Gun for the July convention. The items go on sale at the company’s booth and online starting July 23.
ForbesMattel’s Hot Wheels brand is releasing three limited-edition diecast vehicles as San Diego Comic-Con 2026 exclusives, Forbes reported. The vehicles draw from KPop Demon Hunters, Stranger Things and Top Gun. The San Diego Comic-Con 2026 convention runs July 23-26 at the San Diego Convention Center.
All three vehicles will be sold at Mattel’s booth number 2945 during the event and offered on the Mattel Creations retail site beginning July 23, with quantities limited at both locations. The KPop Demon Hunters vehicle is a Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) with Real Riders wheels.
Its deco features Derpy Tiger’s blue fur, tiger stripes and white teeth on the grille, and the packaging shows Derpy alongside a potted plant.
It is priced at $25. The Stranger Things vehicle is a 1983 Chevy Van with Real Riders wheels and “Hawkins Power and Light” deco. It includes three plastic minifigures of Mike, Eleven, Dustin and Lucas, and its window-box packaging recreates the van-flip scene from Season 1.
The item, which marks the show’s 10th anniversary and recent final season, is priced at $40. The Top Gun vehicle is an F-14 Tomcat that includes a stand to recreate Maverick’s inverted flight over a MiG-28. Its break-frame packaging features a tribute to Goose’s cockpit photo.
The release coincides with the film’s 40th anniversary and is priced at $35. Nick Karamanos, Senior Vice President of Action Figures, Preschool & In-Licensing at Mattel, said in a statement that San Diego Comic-Con offers the best setting to celebrate the fandoms that make pop culture special and that the collaborations capture the energy and iconic spirit of each title.
