Hull KR defeated Hull FC 26-12 in a Betfred Super League match at Hill Dickinson Stadium on July 4, 2026, bbc.co.uk reported. Tries by Mikey Lewis, Rhyse Martin, Jai Whitbread and Tyrone May, along with five goals from Martin, secured the win for the defending champions. Hull KR led 12-4 at half-time after Lewis scored in the 16th minute and Martin added another try.

Jake Arthur replied for Hull FC before the break. Tom Briscoe crossed immediately after half-time and Zak Hardaker kicked a penalty to level the score at 12-12. Whitbread scored in the 67th minute after gathering a loose ball near the try-line.

The television match official reviewed the play following a tackle on Lewis Martin and allowed the try to stand. Tyrone May added the final try. Hull FC suffered their seventh defeat in eight games. Hull KR played without forwards Tom Amone and Dean Hadley after a head clash the previous week and with Tevita Pangai Jr serving the first match of a six-match ban.

Sauaso Sue returned for the Robins. Referee Marcus Griffiths disallowed two first-half tries, one for obstruction by Sue and one for a knock-on by Briscoe. Davy Litten left the field with a head injury late in the first half.
