Humanoid robots walked a Seoul runway alongside human models on May 28 wearing tasseled blue Texan-style ensembles with cowboy hats, retro silver puffer jackets, silky dresses, and space-age black pants inspired by David Bowie. The event, called the MACH33: Physical AI Fashion Show, was held at Galaxy Robot Park, a recently opened 180,000-square-foot complex in the Gangdong district that Galaxy Corporation claims is the world’s first robot theme park.

Galaxy Corporation, which manages K-pop artists G-Dragon and Taemin as well as actor Song Kang-ho, designed the apparel and hosted the show.

Galaxy Corp. " The company plans to launch the clothing line under the brand name MACH 33 by the end of the year, a Galaxy Corporation spokesperson said. Choi Yong-ho said the fashion show is part of a larger program that will include robot concerts, interactive performances, and additional AI-focused cultural events.

South Korea fields more than 1,000 industrial robots for every 10,000 workers and has invested heavily in automation, advanced manufacturing, AI, and humanoid robotics through collaborations among technology firms, universities, and government-backed research programs.
