He praised the record in Manchester and called for an upbeat approach that includes everyone in politics. Georgia Heptonstall, a 62-year-old retired resident from Islington, said she is sad to see the previous officeholder depart. She expressed concern that the new prime minister lacks funds to fulfill promises and worried about the broader political system.
