Indiana Fever Lose 113-96 to Atlanta Dream

The Indiana Fever lost to the Atlanta Dream 113-96 on Saturday night. Caitlin Clark finished with 26 points, three rebounds and seven assists. She also committed seven of the team's 19 turnovers.

Clark said the team struggled after committing 29 personal fouls. "What we did well in the first half was play in transition, spray, find open people. Um, and then it's really hard to do that when all we do is foul and they score," she said. Clark added that ball security must improve. "We have to take care of the ball better and that starts with me," she said.

The Fever trailed after a second-half collapse.

Clark appeared to roll her eyes during a timeout, and video of the exchange circulated on social media. The loss marked the Fever's second defeat to the Dream in three days. The teams had met Thursday in Indiana, where the Dream won 108-101.

Standings Update The Fever hold a 9-7 record.

The Dream improved to 11-4 and lead the Eastern Conference. Angel Reese reached her 1,000th career rebound in her 79th game, the fastest pace in WNBA history.
