Iran says Israeli aircraft approached its borders
Iran’s armed forces command said military flights toward its territory constitute a threat and that it reserves the right to respond if the US cannot restrain Israel. Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem called for Israel’s unconditional exit from Lebanon during the same period that US-mediated talks resume in Washington.

Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters stated that movements of military aircraft in the skies of neighboring countries toward Iran are a dangerous act and a threat against the Islamic Republic. The headquarters added that if the United States is unable to contain and control Israel, Iran will not tolerate any threat and considers it its right to respond.
Hezbollah Secretary-General Naim Qassem said Israel must leave Lebanon unconditionally.
He stated that Israel is in Lebanon because it wants to occupy the country, not because of Hezbollah missiles. Qassem described a memorandum of understanding as an official declaration of the defeat of America and Israel and called on Lebanese authorities to stop implementing the dictates of America and Israel.
Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian homes and threw stones in the village of al-Maniya, southeast of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank, on the morning of June 26, according to the Palestinian news agency Wafa.
The settlers also damaged the electricity line supplying the village. The Israeli army bulldozed and burned houses in the municipality of Markaba in southern Lebanon’s Nabatieh district during military operations. Four Israeli soldiers, including two officers, were injured in a close-quarter encounter with a Hezbollah fighter in southern Lebanon’s Beit Yahoun municipality on Thursday evening, the Israeli army said.
One officer was moderately wounded and another officer plus two soldiers were lightly wounded. An explosion caused by an unexploded war remnant in the town of al-Mansouri in southern Lebanon’s Tyre district killed one person and critically injured another. US-mediated talks between Israel and Lebanon will resume in Washington later on June 26.
