Iran condemned an attack on Sanaa airport that damaged civilian infrastructure and rejected the existence of an air embargo against Yemen. @MarioNawfal reported the statement from the Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman, who said the recent flight occurred solely to return an official Yemeni delegation that had traveled to Iran to pay respects to the martyred leader.
"Iran does not accept the existence of an air embargo against Yemen and considers such an interpretation of Security Council resolutions incorrect, and UN sanctions an oppressive measure," the spokesman said.
