Iran used cluster munitions against Bahrain for the first time, @MarioNawfal reported. The munitions consisted of 60 basketball-sized warheads designed to overwhelm Patriot systems. Malcolm Nance stated that this weapon has only ever been used against Israel before now.
Nance also stated that the Bahrainis were allegedly allowing the U.S. to fire HIMARS precision missiles from Sheikh Isa Airbase.
