The Israel Defense Forces said Thursday that it struck more than 135 alleged Hezbollah targets across Lebanon over the previous 24 hours. The targeted areas included Tyre and other parts of southern Lebanon as well as the Beqaa Valley in the east, according to the Israel Defense Forces. The Israel Defense Forces also confirmed a new strike in Beirut on Thursday.

Forces told ABC News that the target in Thursday's strike on Beirut was a senior Hezbollah missile unit commander. Overnight, the Israel Defense Forces issued more forced evacuation warnings to residents of Tyre and Zaqqoq Al-Mufdi in southern Lebanon.

Missile Launch Reported U.S.

Central Command said in a post on X on Thursday that Iran launched a ballistic missile toward Kuwait that was intercepted by Kuwaiti forces. CENTCOM said the missile launch came shortly after Iranian forces launched five attack drones in and near the Strait of Hormuz. S. forces, which also prevented a sixth drone launch from an Iranian ground control site in Bandar Abbas, according to CENTCOM.
