Medics identified the dead as Mohammad Abu Mallouh, his wife Alaa Zaqlan, and their child Osama. The same officials said roughly ten people were wounded in the strike.
Later on Sunday, Israeli gunfire killed a Palestinian man near a UN-run medical clinic in the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza, medics said. The Israeli military did not immediately comment on either incident.
Hospital in Deir Al-Balah, relatives viewed the bodies. Israel says its strikes target threats near the armistice line.
Hamas has not released casualty figures for its fighters. Israeli jets also carried out air raids on Deir el-Balah on Sunday, causing damage near a hospital, according to reporting from Gaza City.
