An Israeli airstrike struck an apartment in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza early Sunday, killing three family members including a six-month-old child, health officials said. Medics identified the dead as Mohammad Abu Mallouh, his wife Alaa Zaqlan, and their child Osama. The same officials said roughly ten people were wounded in the strike.

Later on Sunday, Israeli gunfire killed a Palestinian man near a UN-run medical clinic in the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza, medics said. The Israeli military did not immediately comment on either incident.

Hospital in Deir Al-Balah, relatives viewed the bodies. The infant’s grandmother, Umm Hamza Abu Mallouh, said the rocket struck the family while they slept. >"A man sleeping along with his wife and their 6-month infant son in their bed. The October ceasefire, brokered by U.S.

President Donald Trump, left Israel in control of more than half of Gaza. Since then, Gaza health officials have recorded roughly 880 Palestinian deaths in Israeli strikes, while the Israeli military has reported four soldiers killed by militants. Israel says its strikes target threats near the armistice line.

Hamas has not released casualty figures for its fighters. Israeli jets also carried out air raids on Deir el-Balah on Sunday, causing damage near a hospital, according to reporting from Gaza City.
