Israeli Prosecutors Indict Beersheba Man for Attempted Attack on Former Lawmaker

Prosecutors have indicted Asaf Israel Arye, a 28-year-old man from Beersheba, on charges of attempted attack against former lawmaker Mossi Raz. Prosecutors said Arye prepared a knife and pepper spray, traveled to Raz’s home, and later sought the address of former Shin Bet chief Ronen Bar. Raz previously led the Interior and Environmental Protection Committee at the Knesset.
