The account cited an Axios report and noted that Trump spoke at a Rose Garden Club Lunch at the White House on July 6, 2026. IDF sources told The Jerusalem Post they were unaware of any phone call directing the withdrawals.
The same sources said the Axios report caught them by surprise. The sources added that there has been no change on the ground in Lebanon or Syria.
