Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson Appears on Essence Magazine Cover

Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson appeared on the cover of the most recent issue of Essence magazine, Fox News reported. Essence, which describes itself as the premiere lifestyle, fashion and beauty magazine for African-American women, tweeted about the cover on July 4.

The tweet stated that the magazine was honored to unveil the first magazine cover of Jackson’s historic career as America celebrates its 250th birthday.

It added that as the first Black woman to serve on the nation’s highest court, there is no better moment to celebrate her extraordinary legacy and that Jackson represents the American Dream. Jackson attended the 2026 Recording Academy Honors presented by The Black Music Collective during the 68th GRAMMY Awards on January 29, 2026, in Los Angeles.
