The couple expressed gratitude for support received during the period. " Emily Baldoni added that gratitude does not erase the injustice and pain experienced, noting they had wrestled with how events could occur while framed as a fight for women. Justin Baldoni said the pair chose to let the justice system run its course without adding to surrounding noise.

Emily Baldoni said the truth and facts had spoken for themselves. Justin Baldoni stated, "We are healing," and described healing as non-linear. He thanked supporters who spoke on their behalf when the couple lacked a public voice.

A federal judge dismissed much of Blake Lively's case against Justin Baldoni in April 2026, including sexual harassment claims, while allowing a retaliation claim against his public relations teams to proceed. The parties agreed to settle through Wayfarer Studios but remain in court over legal fees.

Attorneys for Lively filed that Wayfarer Studios owes her $7,495,526.87 in attorneys' fees and $539,514.01 in costs tied to a dismissed defamation lawsuit.

U.S. District Judge Lewis Liman denied Lively's request for punitive damages but permitted her to seek the fees under California Civil Code Section 47.1. Emily Baldoni said more would be said later, but the couple would now focus on healing, family, and enjoying life.
