SEOUL, May 4 - A K-pop group's latest album, "Arirang," stayed in the top five of the Billboard 200 chart for the sixth straight week, according to a chart preview from Billboard. The album ranked at No. 5 with 56,000 equivalent album units in the tracking week, dropping one spot from the prior week.

It had earlier become the first album by a K-pop act to hold the No. 1 position for three weeks after its release in March.

"Arirang" is the group's fifth studio album and features 14 tracks, led by the single "Swim." The release followed a four-year break due to the members' mandatory military service. The Billboard 200 measures the most popular albums in the United States based on equivalent album units, which include physical and digital sales, streaming, and digital track downloads converted to album sales.

In related news, a music company reported nearly 700 billion won in first-quarter revenue, attributed in part to the group's comeback. The album has also been certified platinum in France. Another group's album and the single "Swim" appeared on Billboard charts, with the single reaching No. 10 on the singles chart.
