Katie Holmes Shares Six-Product Makeup Routine Using Merit Beauty Items

Katie Holmes posted her daily makeup routine on Instagram. She described it as very minimal and said she prefers simple application because she does not feel confident with more complex techniques.

Holmes applied Merit Flush Balm in Cheeky to her cheeks and nose.

She used Merit The Minimalist Perfecting Complexion Stick in Sand and Burlwood to even skin tone. She lined her lips with Merit Signature Lip Liner in Rose. Holmes filled her brows with Merit Brow 1980 Volumizing Pomade in Taupe. She finished with Merit Shade Slick Tinted Lip Oil in Biarritz over the liner.

Holmes added mascara but did not name the product. The post noted that Holmes applies the products with her fingers. She credited makeup artist Genevieve Herr for the nose-dot technique. Holmes mentioned that Merit products make the process easier for her.

She said the brand suits her preference for quick routines in New York City.
