King Charles III Marks Official Birthday With Trooping the Colour Parade in London

Trooping the Colour 2026 took place in London, England, marking King Charles III's official birthday. Members of the Household Division marched along The Mall while musicians from the Massed Bands of the Household Division paraded down the same route.

King Charles III and Queen Camilla passed through the parade, followed by Catherine, Princess of Wales and Prince Louis of Wales, Prince George of Wales, Princess Charlotte of Wales and Prince Louis of Wales, Prince Richard, Duke of Gloucester and Birgitte, Duchess of Gloucester, Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh and Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence.

King Charles III saluted during the parade. Prince Edward, Duke of Edinburgh and Princess Anne also participated in the parade.

The Royal Family watched an RAF flypast from the balcony of Buckingham Palace. Prince William, Prince of Wales, Princess Charlotte of Wales, Catherine, Princess of Wales, Prince George of Wales and Prince Louis of Wales joined the viewing. Several RAF planes flew across Buckingham Palace to honour King Charles III on his birthday.

The Red Arrows performed a flypast of Buckingham Palace on King Charles III's official birthday. The Red Arrows flew over Buckingham Palace during the Trooping the Colour parade. Members of the British military watched the Red Arrows perform the flypast.
