Peter Phillips Marries Harriet Sperling in Gloucestershire Ceremony Attended by King Charles, Queen Camilla, Beatrice and Eugenie

King Charles III and Queen Camilla attended the wedding of Peter Phillips and Harriet Sperling on Saturday at All Saints Church in Kemble, Gloucestershire. The couple married in a private ceremony that included a tribute to the late Queen Elizabeth II. Phillips, 48, is the son of Princess Anne and the grandson of Queen Elizabeth II.

He is also the nephew of King Charles. The bride is a paediatric nurse. Princess Beatrice, 37, and Princess Eugenie, 36, arrived together with their husbands. Princess Anne and Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence, Zara Tindall and Mike Tindall, Prince William and Kate Middleton, and Prince Edward and Sophie also attended.

The wedding marked the second major royal family event attended by Beatrice and Eugenie since their parents, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson, faced renewed public scrutiny over ties to Jeffrey Epstein. The sisters also attended the annual Christmas service last December. Eugenie stated she is pregnant with her third child.

Both sisters have maintained lower public profiles in recent months after their father was stripped of his royal titles and evicted from his residence. In March the sisters were told they would not be invited to the 2026 Royal Ascot, scheduled for June 16 through June 20, or to join the Royal Procession. Reports indicated Beatrice had considered relocating to the United States.

The attendance of senior family members at the Cotswolds ceremony signals a continued private role for the sisters within the family despite the restrictions on public royal events.
