Lidl will launch the SilverCrest premium freezi ice cream maker priced at £69.99 in stores across the country beginning Thursday 16 July. The appliance offers seven preset functions that produce ice cream, light ice cream, gelato, sorbets and smoothie bowls. It includes a recipe booklet, and users must freeze ingredients for 24 hours before operation.
The product is a middle-aisle item that will not return once sold out. The Independent reported that Aldi will launch its own ice cream maker on the same date. Ninja's Creami ice cream maker is priced at £199.99.
