Detroit Lions rookie wide receiver Kendrick Law tore his ACL during Tuesday's organized team activities practice in a noncontact drill, head coach Dan Campbell said Thursday. The injury occurred at the Lions' facility in Allen Park, Michigan. Law, selected in the fifth round of the 2026 NFL draft, had been acquired after the team traded up 13 spots to pick him at No.

138 out of Kentucky. Campbell addressed the setback at his weekly media session. "Harsh reality, but he'll get it out of the way early, have his whole career in front of him," Campbell said. "Hate to start with that, that's a bit of a negative, but everybody else is doing good.

Law recorded a 42-inch vertical jump at the NFL scouting combine. Last season at Kentucky he led the team with 540 receiving yards, 511 of which came after the catch. He had transferred to Kentucky in 2025 after beginning his college career at Alabama.

Campbell said the rest of the roster continues to progress through the spring workouts.
