Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson agreed Thursday to a four-year, $110.5 million contract extension that includes a $31 million signing bonus. The agreement comes weeks after the Packers extended another top receiver, Jayden Reed, to a three-year, $50.25 million deal on April 24.

Contract details and context Watson, 27, had signed a one-year, $11 million contract last September while returning from a torn ACL suffered late in the 2024 season. The new extension carries an average annual value of $27.6 million. Watson still had $5.75 million remaining on his prior deal.

Performance and roster changes In the final 10 games of last season, Watson recorded 35 catches for 611 yards and six touchdowns. From Weeks 8 to 18, he led the NFL with a 17.5-yard average per catch. Of his 35 receptions, 17 went for 16 or more yards, a rate that ranked third among players with at least 30 catches.

The Packers let receiver Romeo Doubs leave in free agency and traded receiver Dontayvion Wicks earlier this offseason. >"It was definitely tough to see those guys go because they're great friends of mine, great teammates. " — Christian Watson, during Packers OTAs this week (ESPN).

Career totals In four seasons with the Packers, Watson has caught 133 passes for 2,264 yards and 20 touchdowns. The team is conducting organized team activities this week.
