Kwiat/Fred Leighton reopened in a larger space at 713 Madison Avenue. CH Carolina Herrera plans to move from 802 Madison Avenue to a new location at 825 Madison Avenue. Dunhill will return to Madison Avenue at 821 Madison Avenue. Loewe plans a new flagship for its Casa brand at 694-696 Madison Avenue.
Bauer, head of the Madison Avenue Business Improvement District, said the stores are reinvesting in the avenue. He stated that the market remains international while serving a primarily local customer base. “This is an international shopping street but the market is very local.
