Manel Kape defeated Kyoji Horiguchi by TKO at 2:42 of the third round in the main event of UFC Fight Night: Kape vs. Horiguchi 2 at Meta Apex in Las Vegas on June 20, 2026. The result avenged Kape’s 2017 submission loss to Horiguchi in the Rizin Bantamweight Grand Prix semifinals.
Kape improved to 23-7 and received a $100,000 Performance of the Night bonus. Kape entered the bout on a three-fight winning streak that included a knockout of Brandon Royval. Horiguchi entered on a seven-fight winning streak.
During the fight, Horiguchi scored three takedowns and landed strikes, but Kape landed a counter right hand that dropped Horiguchi and prompted referee Herb Dean to stop the contest. Navajo Stirling defeated Ion Cutelaba by TKO at 3:23 of the second round in the co-main event. Christian Rodriguez submitted Hyder Amil with a guillotine choke at 3:43 of the first round.
Murtazali Magomedov submitted Melsik Baghdasaryan with a twister at 1:17 of the first round and also received a $100,000 Performance of the Night bonus. Vinicius Oliveira defeated Andre Fili by TKO at 4:56 of the second round. Oliveira was originally scheduled to face Giga Chikadze, who withdrew before the event.
