Rep. Thomas Massie holds a single-point lead over his Trump-endorsed primary opponent in Kentucky's 4th Congressional District, the Republican congressman said in an interview aired Wednesday night. "It’s a single-point lead for me; it’s not very fluid," Massie told Tucker Carlson.

"It’s going to be close. S. House, said his adversaries are spending $10 million against his campaign. He attributed the negative ad spending to billionaires and pro-Israel groups including the Republican Jewish Coalition and the American Israel Public Affairs Committee.

5 million in 38 days to oust Thomas Massie. "The real reason that this race is a serious race, and I may lose, is because a foreign lobby has fully funded, to the extent that they’ve never done in any Republican race ever before, my opponent," Massie said on The Tucker Carlson Show. The Kentucky 4th Congressional District primary is scheduled for May 19.

The northern Kentucky race is a deep-red district, so the primary winner is likely to win the seat in November. Thomas Massie was first elected to the district in 2012. Since then he has won every primary challenge he has faced with over 70% of the vote.

In 2022 Thomas Massie won the general election with 65% of the vote compared to his opponent’s 31%. 4%. Massie has consistently voted against foreign aid spending and military aid to Israel.

He has been a target of pro-Israel groups particularly since President Donald Trump boosted Ed Gallrein over Massie. Ed Gallrein is a former Navy SEAL. Massie, a Republican from Kentucky, maintained that the heavy spending had turned a once-safe seat into a competitive race.

The congressman has faced no serious primary threat in more than a decade, according to Washington Examiner reporting on his past margins. The outcome of the May 19 vote will determine who advances in a district that has delivered strong Republican victories at every level.
