"It's definitely on the table," he said Wednesday at Meta's annual shareholder meeting. Zuckerberg noted that outside companies have approached Meta weekly about purchasing compute capacity or using an API service.
He said Meta has not yet rented out capacity because it expects to use the resources internally.
Meta raised its 2026 guidance for AI-related capital expenditures in April to a range of $125 billion to $145 billion. Shares fell 7 percent after the company reported first-quarter earnings, reflecting investor concern over the spending increase. Zuckerberg said Meta is establishing a longer-term monetization model for its AI offerings.
The company separately announced it will begin testing monthly subscription services for the Meta AI app and website in Singapore, Guatemala, and Bolivia. 99 per month depending on features.
