Mexico defeated Czechia 3-0 on June 24 at Azteca Stadium in Mexico City, completing an undefeated group stage in the 2026 World Cup. Mateo Chavez scored in the 55th minute. Julian Quinones added a goal six minutes later, and Alvaro Fidalgo scored in second-half stoppage time.
