Former players and musicians attended in person while the 20 major trophies won during Guardiola's tenure were carried onto the stage. A women's-team player announced a new four-year contract during the portion of the program devoted to the women's side. Forward Erling Haaland also spoke from the stage, saying the squad would continue to pursue major honors after Guardiola's departure.
Guardiola addressed the audience after the trophy presentation.
He thanked supporters for their connection to the club and said he would carry that gratitude for the rest of his life. At the team's final match the previous day, Guardiola spoke about the pride he felt having his father present at the stadium.
