Morocco Faces Haiti in Atlanta as Group C Nears Close

Morocco and Haiti will play a Group C match at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta at 6 p.m. ET on Wednesday. The game is the second-to-last group-stage fixture scheduled in the city during the current tournament. Morocco enters with four points from one win and one draw, while Haiti has zero points after two losses.

Brazil also holds four points after one win and one draw. Scotland sits one point behind the leaders following one victory and one defeat. Haiti has been eliminated from knockout-stage contention regardless of the outcome in Atlanta. The team last appeared at the World Cup in 1974.

The city has hosted three prior matches.

Cape Verde and Spain opened the tournament with a 0-0 draw. Czechia and South Africa finished 1-1 on June 18. Spain defeated Saudi Arabia 4-0 on June 21.

The FIFA Fan Festival in Centennial Park has drawn more than 274,000 visitors in its first ten days. Organizers added an extra open day to accommodate viewing of the U.S. men's national team match on Thursday. Free streaming is also available on Fubo.

Two additional group-stage matches, one round-of-32 match, one round-of-16 match, and one semifinal are still set for Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The next fixture is Uzbekistan versus DR Congo on June 27.
