The Washington Nationals terminated Director of Community Relations Sean Hudson after a hidden-camera video surfaced showing him discussing veteran pitcher Trevor Williams. In the video, Hudson said of Williams: “One of our pitchers, Trevor Williams. ” The New York Post first reported on the footage.

The Nationals acted quickly once the video became public. President of Business Operations Jason Sinnarajah stated: “We were horrified by the comments made on the video. The comments don’t reflect us as an organization, our values and who we are.

The Washington Post and Sports Business Journal both reported Hudson’s termination. The incident has generated widespread discussion around baseball. Trevor Williams, 34, is a starting pitcher for the Washington Nationals with more than a decade of major league experience.
