Jordy Frahm announced on Instagram that she is pregnant with her first child one day after Nebraska lost its second-round game to Texas in the 2026 College World Series. The post stated the baby is due in December 2026. “Our greatest blessing is on the way.

Baby Frahm coming December 2026,” Frahm wrote. Frahm, born and raised in Papillion, Nebraska, finished her collegiate career with a 3-1 loss to Texas in an elimination game. She hit a solo home run and carried a no-hitter into the sixth inning before a three-run homer ended the bid.

Frahm had 20 home runs and 20 wins in the 2026 season, becoming the first player in NCAA softball history to reach both marks in a single year. She was named National Player of the Year.

Frahm started her career at Oklahoma in 2022 and contributed to two College Softball World Series titles before entering the transfer portal after her second season. She joined Nebraska to be closer to family. Her return was interrupted in 2024 when she tore her ACL two innings into the season.

In 2025 she led Nebraska to the super regionals for the first time since 2014, where the team lost to Tennessee after winning the opening game of a best-of-three series. Frahm also pitched in the Big Ten Championship that year.

After the loss to Texas, Frahm said: “God’s fingerprints were all over this team, all over my story, all over my career. I do truly believe that the way today ended is a part of that story, as well. I would just say the whole journey has been… not what I expected.

Frahm’s husband is Trey Frahm.
