Nelly Korda Misses Cut at Evian Championship After Two Rounds

ESPN reported that Nelly Korda missed the cut at the Evian Championship on Friday after rounds of 74 and 69 left her at 1-over par and tied for 67th place. Korda improved by five shots from her opening round on Thursday but still fell one stroke short of advancing at Evian Resort Golf Club in Evian-les-Bains, France. Her last missed cut came at the 2024 Women's PGA Championship.

Lottie Woad moved into the lead with a 7-under 64 in the second round. The round included eight birdies and one bogey and placed her at 11-under par overall. Woad said after her round that hitting fairways and greens was key at the course.

She added that her driver had been effective off the tee. Aki Iwai, who held a two-stroke lead after the first round, shot 69 on Friday and stood two strokes behind Woad. Mao Saigo and Haeran Ryu were tied for third place.
