A Netflix series featuring Meghan Markle has been nominated for an Emmy award. The program presents 30-minute episodes in which Markle shares cooking and hosting tips with guests including Mindy Kaling and chef Samin Nosrat.
Career background Markle studied acting and international relations at Northwestern University and graduated in 2003. She began acting before graduation and also worked part-time as a calligrapher. Her breakout television role came in 2011 as Rachel Zane on the series Suits, which she filmed until 2017.
Post-royal projects After leaving Suits, Markle married Prince Harry in May 2018 and served as a working royal until 2020. The couple launched independent media projects that year. Markle published the children's book The Bench in June 2021 and hosted the Spotify podcast Archetypes beginning in August 2021.
Lifestyle series and business Netflix released the first season of the lifestyle series on March 4, 2025. Season two premiered on August 26, 2025, and included additional celebrity guests. Markle launched the company originally named American Riviera Orchard in March 2024 and later rebranded it As Ever. The first As Ever products became available on April 2, 2025.
