NFL Schedules Record Nine International Games for 2026 Season
The NFL announced its largest international schedule to date, featuring nine games across seven countries on four continents. The slate includes first-time games in Melbourne and Paris along with multiple matchups in London. The Jacksonville Jaguars and one other team will each play two games abroad as part of the expanded global effort.

The NFL on Wednesday announced the matchups for a record nine international regular-season games in the 2026 season, its largest such slate to date. The schedule spans seven countries and four continents. It includes the league's first game in Australia during Week 1 in Melbourne and its first game in France during Week 7 in Paris.
The first matchup pits two NFC West teams against each other on 10 September at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Action then shifts to Brazil in Week 3, with one game set for 27 September at the Maracanã stadium in Rio de Janeiro.
The London schedule opens in Week 4 on 4 October at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. A second game follows there in Week 5 on 11 October. One team will play consecutive home games abroad, with its Week 6 contest scheduled for Wembley Stadium on 18 October.
The league's first game in Paris is set for 25 October at Stade de France. The second visit to Spain occurs in Week 9 on 8 November at Madrid's Bernabéu stadium.
Germany hosts its game in Week 10 on 15 November at Allianz Arena in Munich. The final international game features a matchup on 22 November at Estadio Banorte in Mexico City. Two teams will each play two contests abroad. The full regular-season schedule, including all domestic games, is scheduled for release on Thursday.
The league has been expanding its international footprint for years through games in London, Germany and Mexico. This year's slate marks the most ambitious global schedule to date.
