The Ninja Crispi Microwave went on sale July 16 for $449. It heats food with microwaves before switching to air fryer mode for crisp results.
The VergeNinja introduced its first microwave on July 16, 2026. The Ninja Crispi Microwave also operates as an air fryer and became available the same day through SharkNinja’s online store. The appliance carries a $449 price and a 1,000-watt rating.
It uses a flatbed design without a turntable that provides 40 percent more usable cooking surface than conventional models. Standard microwave presets include popcorn, defrost, frozen dinner, and softening butter. The unit can heat two bags of popcorn at once or four bowls of food simultaneously.
After microwave heating, the device switches to air fryer mode. That mode reaches 450 degrees Fahrenheit and uses a 5.5-quart glass container with an insert that allows air to circulate beneath the food. The container can hold an 8-pound chicken.
Two lids are included: one for storage and one with a vent for steaming vegetables. Air fryer presets include air bake, max crisp, and air broil. The Verge reported that the combined functions are intended to produce crisp results instead of soggy reheated food; Ninja claims the unit could replace two separate appliances.
